When all seem's impossible to you and there seems to be no way to
handle a situation that you are dealing with. There is hope. That
hope is in Jesus Christ. He has come to set the captive free and
to whom the son sets free is free in deed. So no matter what your
current circumstances are there is freedom for you. Even though
sometimes you may think that everything around you is falling apart.
And you wonder if things will ever change.You may even ask yourself
will this always be like this ? Or perhaps you may be concerned about
a loved one or a friend . Whatever the case may be Jesus loves you
with an unconditional love. In Luke chapter 1: 26 we see that the
angel Gabriel was sent from God to go to a city named Nazareth to a
virgin named Mary. And the angel spoke to Mary and said " Hail, thou
art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou
among women." Now when Mary seen the angel gabriel she was troubled
at what was said to her.And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary,
you have found favor with God. And thou shalt conceive in the womb,
and bring forth a son, and call his name Jesus. Notice he said fear
not Mary you have found favor with God. Now continuing on in verse
34 of that same chapter Mary replies back by saying . How shall this
be I no not a man? Notice Mary is trying hard to figure this out by
focusing on what's happening in the now. She is probley thinking oh
how can this be? This is impossible. Look at my circumstances around
me this makes no sense to my natural mind. I know not a man.
Now in verse 35 the angel answered her question. The holy ghost will
come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:
therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be
called the Son of God. Oh how exciting it is that God is working
everything out . He also lets Mary know that her cousin Elisabeth,
will also conceive a son in her old age. Then in verse 37 the angel
said For with God nothing shall be impossible. and then Mary responds
back by agreeing with word of the God. You know its funny at first we
see Mary trying to think in her own mind oh how could this be?
How could this every happen to me? I know not a man. Notice then that
when the angel tells Mary that the holy spirit will overshadow
her.She then gets to that place of understanding God's ways does not
always conform to her understanding and as long as she rests in him
he will take care of it .We learn that it is not in our own doing it
is God that will work all things out . He wants you to believe in his
word and those things that he has spoken to you. Isn't it good to
know when God speaks to you he will provide the way for you . That no
matter what your circumstance is he has an answer for you. You
don't have to try to figure it all out yourself. He knows you and
loves you. And hey look at what happened in that circumstance with
Mary Jesus was born . Even now we celebrate the resurrection of our
savior Jesus Christ. Amen
