Refocus, Revision, Revive, and Thrive

Welcome to Our God Is Faithful Ministries. Jesus Loves you and so do I! You are very special and the apple of his eye. You’re lovely and fearfully and wonderfully made.  Let’s rejoice and be glad for this is the day the Lord hath made. He is leading us and guiding us each and everyday along as we are led by the spirit and not by the flesh. The flesh is carnality. Walking in the spirit brings life. Today I want to talk about worry! Many of you have dealt with unnecessary worry in your life. Many of you are still battling daily with worry. Why? One might ask why I would be such a worry wart about everything when the word of God tells me to be anxious for nothing. Why would I think negative thoughts which lead to worry and fear? Have you asked yourself these questions? If not maybe you should ask yourself these questions. Do you really believe that God wants you to worry about everything? What does his word say about it? Life is precious lets not waste it by worrying about everything? I like what I heard from someone awhile back. “I don’t need to know everything” so having said that when you worry about something is it because you feel you need to know what is going on? Ok for an example? You lose your job and you start to worry about finding another one?  You start to take thought by saying Oh will I every find a job, or will I ever find another good paying job. And for days weeks you worry about it wondering and wondering. You have done everything you know to do by applying for jobs and going out to look for one.  But when the day is done you come home still fretting? Let me ask you this? Did you cast this care of yours upon the Lord? He tells us to cast all of our care upon him for he cares for us?  1 Peter 5:7 Or did you go home and fret and toss and turn and not sleep  then talk about it constantly in a negative way.Psl 37: Fret not

 Let me ask you when you did all this was it able to help you and get the job! I would assume it did not. Probably it didn’t change a thing except stressing your mind and body out and others around you. You have got to take care of your mind and body. We are the temple of God and the Holy Spirit dwells in us. And you know the Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you unto all truth.  God will give you wisdom and direction if you have an ear to hear. Hey how do you have an ear to hear if you’re not listening? How do we know when someone is not listening? Because they are not paying attention to you they are off day dreaming about something else, I believe we’ve all been there and done that.  If you’re to busy fretting and worrying and fretting and worrying and talking nonsense out of your mouth you will not hear that still small voice of God leading you. If you’re speaking negative words, how can you be speaking negivitve words and the word of God at the same time? You can’t. So envision this you’re fretting worrying and speaking negative? The bible tells us as a man thinketh so is he.Prov 23:7   you are focusing on what you see in the natural and not focusing on the word of God and the supernatural. Sometimes you feel that you have to see it before you believe it!  Listen Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen! Hew 11:1 Do you really understand what faith is? Faith is believing even when you don’t see it with your natural eyes.  Well hey even sometimes when we fear something that hasn’t evened happened and worry about it . That is having faith in fearing that something bad is going to happen.   Fear causes bondage. Those in fear are subject to bondage.   Perfect love cast out fear. 1 John 4; Glory Glory! Love perfected. You have not received the spirit of fear  but of power love and a sound mind  . 2 Tim 1:7Our mind is not sound when we are worrying about everything. I know it’s not easy I am walking this out too. It is easy to get off track and worry about this and that . I have known what it is to worry and I have known what it is like to be peaceful. I chose to be peaceful any day over worrying.  As I said early it doesn’t change anything. What will change your circumstance? Depends on what your circumstance is? God can change it when you learn to cast all of your care upon him and walk by faith trusting him and committing all your ways unto him, not leaning to your own understanding. Prov 3  Lets break it down some when you worry ask yourself what is going through your mind? What do you expect to happen?  I looked up the word worry and this is what it means: feel something bad is going to happen or has happened. One person made these comments about worry. “Over the span of my lifetime, worrying accounts for hours and hours of invaluable time that I'll never get back. So, I have decided that I'd like to spend my time more wisely and more enjoyably. If you're not convinced yet to give up your worrying, Worrying Accomplishes Absolutely Nothing. I don't know about you, but I don't have any time to waste these days. And worrying is a waste of very precious time. Worrying won't help you solve a problem or bring about a solution, so why waste your time and energy on it? “ So let’s refocus our thoughts when we start to worry , let’s replace it with good thoughts, the word of God. If you would like you can write it down when you are worried about something and then let it go. Now it is important that you do replace those thoughts of worry with the word of God. You take the thought by saying it.  Watch what you are watching on TV and paying attention to be careful of what you are listening to. Sometimes we have well meaning friends around us that can be negative and they try to drag you into their negative conversation. You need to stay focused and in faith, no matter what. Let them know you care about them , however you are not choosing to be negative you have chosen to trust God! Don’t you want to accomplish more in your life than worrying everyday?  Have you even tried going a week without worrying? Wow for some that is a stretch. Oh some are addicted to worry. If their not worrying they are worried because they are not worrying. You have to refocus revision and be revived and thrive. Refocus:  Divert you attention away from worrying and focus on God and his word: Stop focusing on your problem by worrying about it.
Revision: An act of revising: correct or improve revise. Make changes by choosing to walk by faith trusting God. Stop taking thoughts by saying. God tells us to write the vision down though it tarry wait for it. Prov 29:18 where there is no vision people perish, but he that keepeth the law is happy.Revive:: to restore to consciousness or life 2 : to restore from a depressed, inactive, or unused state : bring back 3 : to renew in the mind or memory.  God wants you restored. What the enemy meant for harm God will turn it around for you good! Do you believe it? Be revived in your mind, renew your mind with the word of God. Seek him. Learn of him. Revival starts with one person.  Revive us Psl 85:6 Thrive  to grow vigorously : flourish 2 : to gain in wealth or possessions : prosper 3 : to progress toward or realize a goal despite or because of circumstances —often  We must be growing in our walk with the Lord. Strong meat belongs to those who love the Lord. 5  I like the part we just read” to progress toward or realize a goal despite or because of circumstances”  Lets Thrive and walk in the truth of God! And walk in complete victory this year. Say enough is enough this is your year to shine and realign. 2009 a year of the Divine. 2009  The year of the Divine! The Year to Define and Shine! Its  your time! Time to Realign. Time for Re Design.  Don’t look back. Look onward! Refreshing Refreshing a Time of Refreshing. Its time for Release God is going to release miracles in your life and those around you. Catch the wave Catch the vision. The lord has your provision.  Revise Revision.  Connect and Don’t neglect time in the word of God.  A year of victory. The Battle belongs to the Lord. Letting go of those things that are behind and pressing forward toward the mark of the high calling which is in Christ Jesus. Don’t let your Dreams slide. Keep them alive. Its time to thrive.  Jesus IS alive! Get ready Get ready, Stay steady! Decree and Declare this is your year to hear. The lord is near.  Glory Glory Glory! Its time for your story. It is time for a good report. It is not time to deport.  The lord will support.  Revival Revival. ! I can hear the sounds of the rain coming down!
