Walking With God
Amp Romans 1:17
For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith
Walking with God and not Walking with the world.
Amp Romans 13:14
But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts
Meaning walking in the way the world is walking in sin. Meaning not living as the worldly people do. Matthew 16:26 what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul. Those that don’t know Jesus as the personal lord and savior. 1 John 3:1 Behold what mannor of love the Father hath bestowed on us that we should be called sons of God. Therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
In order to do this our thinking has to change or our mindsets. The way we think about things. We can tell what we are thinking by what comes out of our mouths and what our actions are saying.
Amp James 1:26
If anyone thinks himself to be religious (piously observant of the external duties of his faith) and does not bridle his tongue but deludes his own heart, this person's religious service is worthless (futile, barren
Matt 6:25 take no thought for your life
The way we think about God. Our belief in God. Our past experiences or others past experiences. 1 Corinthians 2:5
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Do we really trust and believe him? Are we walking by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Its not only what we are speaking . It is also how are we walking, how we are living ! What are our actions showing? Is our Faith being tried or tested?
Amp Hebrews 4:2
For indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God] proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it; neither were they united in faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb] who heard (did believe).
Amp Hebrews 6:12
In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness ) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises
In our daily lives are we bringing forth fruit some 100 fold some 60 fold some 30 fold? Like a fruit tree that does not bear fruit . Its not operating in its full potential and how it was created. Its purpose.
Amp 2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [ not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you--unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?
We have heard over and over the word of God preached to us. However are we really grabbing a hold of it and taking action. Are we living epistles read by all men. Once again are we bearing much fruit? We preach a lot about faith. What is it we preach about faith. We say have faith in God. How do we go about walking by faith.
Its not easy to do. It does not come natural. Most importantly we need to know the word of God and what he is saying to us. We need to be attentive to his word and have a heart to receive. Roman 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear
Amp Hebrews 11:1
NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].
Amp Hebrews 11:8
[Urged on] by faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place which he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went, although he did not know or trouble his mind about where he was to go.
Amp Hebrews 11:11
Because of faith also Sarah herself received physical power to conceive a child, even when she was long past the age for it, because she considered [God] Who had given her the promise to be reliable and trustworthy and true to His word
Hearing and Doers of the word of God. Roman 4 4:19-20
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God
We must yield our heart to him. Matt 15:19 Out of the heart
Our heart must be softened. We have to deal with past issues like hurts and painful memories. We must not see God as a harsh unloving unsenitive Father. Lets know about his character. We must be willing to deal with our insecurities. We must be patient and trust God. Allow him to do the work in us and through us. Relationship is key with God. Intimate relationship with him. When we have a good healthy relationship with him we will trust him in all things and have faith. That he can move mountains for us. You know in my life I have an intimate relationship with God and I have seen his hand move mightily upon the lives of others and myself. I have seen him remove mountains that by man eyes were impossible, but with God all things are possible. 2 Corinthians 5:7

I talk with God daily and have a strong desire to know more and more about him. Sometimes we let other things come in and choke the word of God. The worldly cares. Trials , Circumstances, unpleasant situations we deal with. What we think are unanswered prayers. When in all reality God does not change nor does his word change. We need to change our thinking. If God be for us who can be against us. I know firsthand it is not easy when we are walking and living in unwanted circumstances. Those circumstance should not change our faith in God. He is able and Faithful to do above and beyond all that we can ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. No matter what were going through we must trust God who is able to deliver us. Hold fast help is on the way. You know if we give up it does change anything or help. So why don’t we keep on and trust God for better results. Don’t try to do it in your own strength. Lean press into God . Our part is to trust him. You say how do I have faith in this circumstance its not changing? The circumstance may not change but how you handle the circumstance and trust God can. Start believing God. Let go and Let God. Don’t trust your circumstance to change . Trust God to change your circumstance. Maybe you have tried everything in the natural and struggled and struggled to change it. Are you tired yet? Give it to God, by casting your care, take no thought for tomorrow, for tomorrow will have its worries of its own. Don’t give up instead give it to God. If your going to do something with it Give it to God! You ask how do I do that Pastor. Well by casting your care , not worrying about it, not fretting about it. Not trying to figure it out. Not doing things trying to change it that only make it worse. Go on give it to God and move on with something more productive that will bear much fruit. Instead of spending time worrying or fretting. This is wasting your precious time. Spend time in prayer and in the word of God. Instead of confessing the problem.
Confess my God is able to do abundantly above all I could ask according to his power that working in me. Now don’t just confess it , you need to believe it and act on the word of God. Meditate on his word day and night. Feed your spirit. You can confess it all you want but you must believe it in your heart. How do you believe it ? Change your thinking allow God to work on your heart.
Amp John 20:29
Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, do you now believe (trust, have faith)? Blessed and happy and to be envied are those who have never seen Me and yet have believed and adhered to and trusted and relied on Me
Amp 2 Corinthians 5:7
For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.
Ephesians 6:16
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked

Brethren, do not be children [immature] in your thinking; continue to be babes in [matters of] evil, but in your minds be mature [men].
