Staying Steady In Unsteady Times

Staying Steady in Unsteady Times!
How do we stay steady in unsteady times: Can we do it all in our own strength .Maybe for short periods of time. We need to remain steady in Him who has given us his strength He has given us the Holy Spirit to empower us. As we grow day by day in him we gain strength that is needed for

Staying steady in Faith unwavering; staying steady in the love of God. Staying steady in our walk with God.
We need to be unmovable in our faith hope and trust in God. He does not change. Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever, things change, people change, circumstances change, the word of God does not. We must remain steadfast in him, leaning unto him, acknowledging him in all of our ways.
Staying close to him, talking with him, meditating in his word day and night. In him lies your strength needed to endure through life’s tough times. Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusted in him, and I am helped, therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth and with my song will I praise him. Notice how it says my heart greatly rejoiceth, its time for you to have the joy of the Lord. Joy unspeakable.

I want to talk today about being Steady.
I looked the word up steady and this is what I found.

1 a: direct or sure in movement : UNFALTERING b: firm in position : FIXED c: keeping nearly upright in a seaway 2: showing little variation or fluctuation : STABLE, UNIFORM 3 a: not easily disturbed or upset b (1): constant in feeling, principle, purpose, or attachment (2): DEPENDABLE c: not given to dissipation : SOBER

Steadfast Job 11:15
1 Corth 15:58 be ye steadfast, unmovable
Hew 3:14 steadfast unto the end.
1 Peter 5; 6-9 resist steadfast in the faith
Colossians 2:5 the steadfastness of your faith
2 Peter 3:17-18 fall from your steadfastness

We need to be steady in trusting God. Knowing he is faithful. Knowing he loves you and I. Knowing he wants the best for you and I. Knowing he is watching over you and I. He is faithful and just and will watch over his word to perform it. Walking in revelation of the truth of God. Resting in him, striving from good works, when we rest in him, he will direct our paths and order our footsteps, we will clearly know his will for our lives.

The meaning of Unsteady :

: Not steady: as a: not firm or solid: not fixed in position: UNSTABLE b: marked by change or fluctuation: CHANGEABLE c: not uniform or even: IRREGULAR

Now we see the meaning of unsteady not fixed in position, unstable , irregular, James 1:6-8 ask in faith a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Psl 62:8 Trust in him at all times( Notice it didn’t say sometimes) ye people, pour out your heart before him, , Have your poured out your heart to him( Its okay to do that) God is a refuge for us.
Matt 11;28 for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light!

We must Abide in HIM!

Abide
transitive verb1: to wait for : AWAIT2 a: to endure without yielding : WITHSTAND b: to bear patiently : TOLERATE 3: to accept without objection verb1: to remain stable or fixed in a state2: to continue in a place : SOJOURN

If were not abiding in Christ we will be unfruitful in our relationship with him.

Psl 91: 1 under the shadow of the almighty,
John 14:16 the Holy Spirit shall abide with you for ever.
John 15:4 Abide in Me and I in you

God’s Presence is our companion, Gods love our protection, Gods Power our strength, Gods wisdom our guidance.

Most importantly you must put on the whole armor of God Eph 6:10-18
With stand means to vigorously oppose, bravely resisting and standing face to face against your adversary.

With authority and spiritual weapons given to you, you can withstand any evil force, hurt, rejection, disappointment.

Be subject to God
Stand firm against the Devil
Put on the whole armor of God

Helen Keller, who was blind and deaf was asked a question, What would be worse than being blind? Her response was To have eyesight and no vision
